As you might have read, the FSFE is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year at the FSFE Summit. I am already looking forward to meet many of you in Berlin from 2-4 September for the celebration.
Beside the preparations for the summit we worked together with BrandAnimate and
today published a 40 second video about the
FSFE (for people who prefer those
services or who like to embed the videos on their websites we also uploaded
them on vimeo and
youtube to make sharing easier.)
We hope it will help you to explain Free Software to your colleagues, friends,
and family. Our suggestion for the hashtag is #FSFE15.
At the moment of writing we have subtitles for Albanian, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Spanish, and Turkish. If your language is not covered yet, please download one of the subtitle files, and sent a translation to our translation team.
Furthermore we updated the FSFE's timeline to give an overview of our achievements since 2001. Feedback about the timeline is also highly welcome.
